IT Professionalism Europe is actively engaged in organising and participating in activities that further professionalism in the industry.
The ITPE launch event was held in Amsterdam, on 24 November 2016, to inaugurate the new initiative. ITPE was launched to bring together key stakeholders to work together to highlight the urgent need to improve IT professionalism, to ensure that Europe benefits from the digital revolution.
CEPIS Secretary General, Austeja Trinkunaite, attended the Taiex Multi-Country Workshop on Digital Skills to present IT Professionalism and host an e-CF briefing session to the Eastern Partnership countries, on 6 December 2017, in Brussels.
On 11 November 2016, CEPIS and the Hellenic Professional Informatics Society (HePIS) organised a European e-Competence Framework (e-CF) briefing in Athens, Greece, as part of the IT Professionalism Europe (ITPE) series of events on the e-CF.
